Why (mostly) we need God?

We live in such a large world, with unpredictable possibilities, we need a guard. Someone stronger. Someone bigger. Someone we hope can be our justification in acting and feeling.

I think atheists are great people. They don’t need a guard. They can stand alone. They can accept the fact that they are alone and have no place to lean on whenever they have problems. I’ve read books when those people claim themselves to be “God”. Oh, sure they are great! Awesome! (Note: I’m not being sarcastic. I really mean it). They may live in tranquility. They can come to terms with the fact that life is a struggle on its own and not worry about “Is there really a God who helps me?”. They accept their reality peacefully.

Meanwhile, we are still worried, confused, and scared about what we do in this world. That’s what makes us believe that we still need God.
